A complete wheel package, the Mavic Cosmic Carbone 40 Elite 23 Clincher Wheelset 2016 is the ultimate in fast wheelsets, ideal for road, time trials and triathlons. Designed with on the road and in the wind tunnel feedback, the CC40 features Mavic's pioneering Wheel Tyre System, which incorporates the Mavic Yksion Pro GripLink and PowerLink tyres, offering grip, speed and durability. QRM hubs are lightweight and tough. The inclusion of carbon brake pads means, bar a cassette, these wheels are ready to hit the road.

The 3K carbon fibre and aluminium reinforced clincher rim is strong and uses the carbon TgMAX brake track to offer excellent braking performance. Designed to work with Shimano and SRAM cassettes, the aluminium hub bodies feature adjustable sealed cartridge bearings for additional protection and ease of maintenance.

Steel spokes are tough and bladed for added aerodynamic efficiency. Fore integrated nipples further enhance this wheelset's aerodynamic profile and, being aluminium, keep the weight down.

Mavic Yksion Pro GripLink and PowerLink tyres finish off the wheelset perfectly. Designed for all year round use, offering exceptional grip in the wet and dry, as well as being a strong compound, means this is a tough and puncture resistant tyre.
